Dario has worked for a large number of comic book companies, including Marvel Comics and Dark Horse Comics. He is well known for his work in numerous Star Wars series alongside Kevin J. Anderson on titles such as Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi — The Sith War, The Golden Age of the Sith, The Fall of the Sith Empire, as well as Jedi Academy: Leviathan. In 2002 he started his own online comic studio called Panday Studio, a venue for artists starting out in the comic industry. Dario Carrasco, Jr. currently lives in Okotoks, Alberta.
Dario will have art prints, comics and commissions available at his signings!

Sheldon Bueckert is a talented comic book artist known for his dynamic and detailed illustrations. With a portfolio showcasing a range of vibrant characters and intricate scenes, Sheldon has made a significant impact in the world of comic art. We first hosted Sheldon in our 30th Anniversary event and he is quickly becoming a fan favourite here at the shop! If you're a huge fan of Star Wars you'll definitely want to check out all of his Star Wars prints!

Let's give a warm welcome to the wonderful watercolour artist and illustrator Janice Blaine! This will be her first guest appearance here at Comic-Kazi where she'll be selling her books, sketches and artwork!
Janice tells stories through her art, using it as her voice to share her tales with those who will listen. She has dedicated her life to exploring various art forms, working as a fine artist, illustrator, layout artist, and classical animator. These experiences have honed her technical skills and broadened her style and subject matter. Janice utilizes both traditional and digital mediums, often combining them to best express her artistic vision. As an illustrator and book designer, she collaborates with writers to bring their ideas to life, while her fine art—paintings and sculptures—draws inspiration from myth and folklore, blending nature and magic.

Sami Francis

Sami Francis is a talented comic book variant artist based in Edmonton, known for her distinctive and captivating artwork. She has collaborated with renowned publishers such as IDW and Archie Comics, with her work being notably featured in Sabrina the Teenage Witch #1. Sami's professional career in the comic book industry began shortly after graduating from 2D animation in Vancouver, BC, and ever since is doing amazing cover art for variant covers such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #147 and #150.
